A comprehensive refurbishment process
Stage 1 : Sourcing and quality control of used stoves
The majority of our stock is sourced from suppliers in the solid fuel installation trade nationwide, we will also purchase from private sellers and happy to take your old stove as part exchange against one of our refurbished stoves. All stoves are checked thoroughly to ensure no structural damage to the stove body is present.
Stage 2 : Comprehensive strip down
All stoves follow the same process in our dedicated workshop, every removable component, nut, bolt or bracket is removed, providing you with peace of mind that we leave no stone unturned
Stage 3 : Sand blasting and repainting
All components are sand blasted back to bare metal, any missing or damaged components are replaced with new or hand made in our workshop, all parts repainted with 3 coats in heat resistant stove paint, all new seals and bricks are replaced
Stage 4 : Reassembly and testing
The stove is then reassembled with all components, seals, bricks, nuts, bolts and glass, the stove is then testing for function and packaged ready for delivery or collection
